Prof. Darrell G. Schlom has been selected as a co-recipient of the 2008 Materials Research Society Medal with Professor James Scott, University of Cambridge. The MRS Medal is awarded for outstanding recent discovery or advancement that is expected to have a major impact on the progress of any materials-related field. The medal and cash prize will be presented at the MRS fall meeting in Boston on December 3, 2008.
