Peter Bai '10 and member of the Wiesner Group was recently named a Hunter R. Rawlings III Cornell Presidential Research Scholar (Rawlings CPRS). Open to all students, across all academic disciplines, in all seven undergraduate colleges, Rawlings CPRS enables its students to collaborate with faculty mentors of their choosing in designing and planning an individualized program of research -- a degree of collaboration usually unheard of in the undergraduate experience.
The majority of Rawlings CPRS students are selected as freshmen. The number of sophomores selected for the program is very limited, so Bai was chosen from a very strong pool of applicants to join this fall. Read more about the program here.
