Students typically apply for affiliation with the MS&E major during the first semester of the sophomore year. To apply for affiliation, students must complete an Application for Major Affiliation available in the MS&E department office. To become an MS&E major, students must have a GPA of greater than 2.0 and have successfully completed the first year requirements.
